S. L. Wu, L. C. Wang, X. X. Yi

TL;DR
This paper introduces the concept of a time-dependent decoherence-free subspace (t-DFS) in open quantum systems with time-varying Lindblad operators, providing conditions for its existence and illustrating its non-trivial nature.
Contribution
It defines the t-DFS, establishes a necessary and sufficient condition for its existence, and demonstrates its properties through illustrative examples.
Findings
t-DFS exists under specific conditions for time-dependent Lindblad operators
The dimension of t-DFS can vary over time
t-DFS is non-trivial when its dimension changes
Abstract
With time-dependent Lindblad operators, an open system may have a time-dependent decoherence-free subspace (t-DFS). In this paper, we define the t-DFS and present a necessary and sufficient condition for the t-DFS. Two examples are presented to illustrate the t-DFS, showing that this t-DFS is not trivial, when the dimension of the t-DFS varies.
