Killing Horizons as Equipotential Hypersurfaces
Ivica Smoli\'c

TL;DR
This paper provides a new proof demonstrating that Killing horizons are equipotential hypersurfaces for electric and magnetic scalar potentials, without relying on gravitational field equations or bifurcation surface assumptions.
Contribution
It introduces a novel proof that does not depend on gravitational equations or bifurcation surface existence, simplifying the understanding of Killing horizons.
Findings
Killing horizons are equipotential hypersurfaces for scalar potentials.
The proof does not require gravitational field equations.
No assumption about bifurcation surfaces is needed.
Abstract
In this note we present a new proof that Killing horizons are equipotential hypersurfaces for the electric and the magnetic scalar potential, that makes no use of gravitational field equations or the assumption about the existence of bifurcation surface.
