Pseudoscalar Meson and Charmed Baryon Scattering Lengths
Zhan-Wei Liu, Shi-Lin Zhu

TL;DR
This paper calculates scattering lengths between pseudoscalar mesons and various charmed baryons using heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory up to third order, showing good convergence in pion channels.
Contribution
It provides the first third-order chiral perturbation theory calculations of these scattering lengths for multiple charmed baryon multiplets.
Findings
Chiral expansion converges well for pion channels.
Provides quantitative scattering lengths for pseudoscalar meson and charmed baryons.
Enhances understanding of meson-baryon interactions in heavy baryon systems.
Abstract
We have calculated the scattering lengths between the pseudoscalar meson and charmed triplet, sextet, and excited sextet baryon to the third order with the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. The chiral expansion of the pion channels converges well.
