Matrix model criticality and resonant tunneling
Tsukasa Tada

TL;DR
This paper explores the potential for novel critical behavior in Hermitian matrix models with resonant tunneling, linking it to first-order phase transitions and examining its distinctive features.
Contribution
It introduces the concept of matrix model criticality associated with resonant tunneling, a novel idea not previously studied in this context.
Findings
Identification of a new critical point linked to resonant tunneling
Connection between the criticality and first-order phase transitions
Initial exploration of features characterizing this criticality
Abstract
We suggest that the Hermitian matrix models with resonant tunneling may exhibit novel criticality. Some features of the proposed criticality are explored. In particular, we argue that the new critical point is connected with the first-order transition.
