Emittance growth mechanisms in the Tevatron beams
Vladimir Shiltsev, Alvin Tollestrup (Fermilab)

TL;DR
This paper investigates the various mechanisms causing emittance growth in the Tevatron beams, providing measurements and analysis of their contributions to beam diffusion.
Contribution
It offers a detailed analysis and estimation of different emittance growth mechanisms in the Tevatron, enhancing understanding of beam dynamics.
Findings
Identified key mechanisms contributing to emittance growth.
Quantified the impact of each mechanism on beam diffusion.
Provided measurements of emittance growth rates.
Abstract
In this article we present results of emittance growth measurements in the Tevatron beams. Several mechanisms leading to transverse and longitudinal diffusions are analyzed and their contributions estimated.
