C.Q. Geng, Y.K. Hsiao

TL;DR
This paper calculates the branching ratio of the rare baryonic decay $B^- o ext{Lambda} ar{p} u ar{ u}$ within the Standard Model, highlighting its potential to probe new physics at future B factories.
Contribution
The study provides the first Standard Model prediction for the branching ratio of the rare baryonic decay $B^- o ext{Lambda} ar{p} u ar{ u}$ and discusses its sensitivity to new physics.
Findings
Branching ratio estimated as (7.9 ± 1.9) × 10^{-7}.
Decay is sensitive to new physics similar to other rare B decays.
Accessible to future B factory experiments.
Abstract
We study the four-body semileptonic baryonic decay of in the standard model. We find that the decay branching ratio is . Similar to the rare decays of , this baryonic decay of is also sensitive to new physics and accessible to the future factories.
