TL;DR
This paper introduces a standardized data model for spectrophotometric datasets, encompassing spectral, temporal, and metadata information, facilitating consistent data representation across astronomical applications.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive data model for spectra and time series, enabling uniform data sharing and analysis in astronomy.
Findings
Defines a flexible data structure for spectral and temporal data
Supports various data types like spectra, time series, and SED segments
Enhances interoperability of astronomical datasets
Abstract
We present a data model describing the structure of spectrophotometric datasets with spectral and temporal coordinates and associated metadata. This data model may be used to represent spectra, time series data, segments of SED (Spectral Energy Distributions) and other spectral or temporal associations.
