Jun Suzuki, Berthold-Georg Englert

TL;DR
This paper explores the symmetric coupling of four spin-1/2 particles using representation theory, linking commuting operators to reference-frame-free subsystems, and provides detailed analysis of small system couplings.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to symmetric coupling of four spin-1/2 systems based on symmetric group representation theory.
Findings
Established correspondence between commuting operators and reference-frame-free subsystems.
Detailed analysis of three and four spin-1/2 system couplings.
Proposed a symmetric coupling scheme for four spin-1/2 particles.
Abstract
We address the non-binary coupling of identical angular momenta based upon the representation theory for the symmetric group. A correspondence is pointed out between the complete set of commuting operators and the reference-frame-free subsystems. We provide a detailed analysis of the coupling of three and four spin-1/2 systems and discuss a symmetric coupling of four spin-1/2 systems.
