About the Mechanism of Geyser Eruption
Andrei Nechayev

TL;DR
This paper proposes a new physical mechanism based on water-vapor system instability to explain geyser eruptions, providing conditions for eruptions and validating the model with observations of Kamchatka geysers.
Contribution
It introduces a novel physical model for geyser eruptions and establishes conditions for eruptions, supported by empirical data from Kamchatka geysers.
Findings
Theoretical conditions for geyser eruptions are derived.
Model shows good agreement with empirical observations.
New physical mechanism explains eruption dynamics.
Abstract
Essentially new physical mechanism of geyser eruption based on instability in "water-vapor" system is proposed. Necessary and sufficient conditions of eruptions are received. For group of Kamchatka geysers a good accordance of theoretical model with empirical observations is shown.
