A new Parameterization for the Pion Vector Form Factor
C. Hanhart

TL;DR
This paper introduces a novel parameterization method for the pion vector form factor that aligns with theoretical principles and experimental data across energy ranges.
Contribution
It presents a new parameterization approach that combines correct analytic structure with consistency at low energies and smooth mapping to established models at high energies.
Findings
Aligns with recent high-precision $ ext{pi} ext{pi}$ scattering data
Ensures correct analytic structure of the form factor
Smoothly connects low-energy analysis with high-energy models
Abstract
A new approach to the parameterization of pion form factors is presented and for illustration applied to the pion vector form factor. It has the correct analytic structure, is at low energies consistent with recent high accuracy analyses of scattering phase shifts and, at high energies, maps smoothly onto the well--known, successful isobar model.
