The rigidity of periodic body-bar frameworks on the three-dimensional fixed torus
Elissa Ross

TL;DR
This paper establishes precise criteria for the rigidity of periodic body-bar frameworks on a fixed three-dimensional torus, advancing understanding of their structural stability in mathematical and engineering contexts.
Contribution
It provides necessary and sufficient conditions for the generic rigidity of 3D periodic body-bar frameworks on the fixed torus, a novel theoretical result.
Findings
Derived conditions for rigidity on the 3D fixed torus
Characterized the relationship between periodic frameworks and their rigidity
Extended rigidity theory to periodic structures in three dimensions
Abstract
We present necessary and sufficient conditions for the generic rigidity of body-bar frameworks on the three-dimensional fixed torus. These frameworks correspond to infinite periodic body-bar frameworks in with a fixed periodic lattice.
