Function contractive maps in partial metric spaces
Mihai Turinici

TL;DR
This paper introduces fixed point results for a class of functional contractions in partial metric spaces, extending previous work and broadening the understanding of contraction mappings in these generalized metric spaces.
Contribution
It provides new fixed point theorems for functional contractions in partial metric spaces, extending prior results by Ilic et al.
Findings
Established new fixed point results for functional contractions
Extended previous theorems to broader classes of partial metric spaces
Contributed to the theoretical understanding of contraction mappings
Abstract
Some fixed point results are given for a class of functional contractions over partial metric spaces. These extend some contributions in the area due to Ilic et al [Math. Comput. Modelling, 55 (2012), 801-809].
