SFT Action for Separated D-branes
Matheson Longton

TL;DR
This paper develops a new cubic string field theory action for separated D-branes, allowing for arbitrary zero-modes and without imposing twist symmetry, facilitating the study of diverse D-brane configurations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel string field theory action with a specific embedding coordinate treated separately, expanding the modeling capabilities for D-brane configurations.
Findings
Provides a truncated action at level (3,9)
Allows arbitrary zero-modes for the special direction
Does not impose twist symmetry
Abstract
We present an action for Cubic String Field Theory with one embedding coordinate treated separately. We truncate the action at level (3,9), but unlike many other works we do not impose twist symmetry. We also allow arbitrary zero-modes for the direction considered special. Our action provides a starting point for the study of numerous configurations of D-branes.
