Revisiting the production of charmonium plus a light meson at PANDA
Qing-Yong Lin, Xiang Liu, Hu-Shan Xu

TL;DR
This paper calculates cross sections and angular distributions for charmonium plus light meson production in proton-antiproton interactions, highlighting the importance of form factors and the potential to test coupling constants at PANDA.
Contribution
It provides detailed theoretical predictions for various charmonium-light meson production channels, emphasizing the role of form factors and coupling constants, and offers testable predictions for PANDA experiments.
Findings
Form factor contributions are significant in cross section calculations.
The $par{p} o ho ext{ or } ext{light meson} + ext{charmonium}$ processes show dependence on coupling constants.
The $ ext{eta}_c$ production has the largest cross section among studied channels.
Abstract
In this work, we calculate the total cross sections and the center-of-mass frame angular distributions of the charmonium production plus a light meson by the low energy interaction. The results of with and without form factor (FF) indicate that the FF contribution in the calculation cannot be ignored. The obtained cross section of with FF can fit the E760 data well. We also predict the total cross sections and the center-of-mass frame angular distributions of , which show that these physical quantities are dependent on Pauli () and Dirac () coupling constants of the interaction. Thus, can be as the ideal channel to test the different theoretical values of and . Applying the formulae of and…
