Nora Brambilla, Piotr Pietrulewicz, Antonio Vairo

TL;DR
This paper provides a comprehensive, model-independent analysis of electric dipole transitions in heavy quarkonium using effective field theory, deriving relativistic corrections up to order v^2 for various quarkonium states.
Contribution
It offers a systematic derivation of relativistic corrections in electric dipole transitions within pNRQCD, extending previous potential model results.
Findings
Derived complete relativistic corrections of order v^2
Supported and extended previous potential model results
Applicable to both weakly and strongly-coupled quarkonia
Abstract
The paper contains a systematic, model-independent treatment of electric dipole (E1) transitions in heavy quarkonium. Within the effective field theory framework of potential non-relativistic QCD (pNRQCD), we derive the complete set of relativistic corrections of relative order v^2 both for weakly and strongly-coupled quarkonia. The result supports and complements former results from potential model calculations.
