Low-x evolution of parton densities
Alexey Yu. Illarionov, Anatoly V. Kotikov

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a Bessel-like behavior of the structure function F2 at small x, derived from flat initial conditions in DGLAP evolution, aligns well with HERA deep inelastic scattering data.
Contribution
It introduces a Bessel-like approach to modeling F2 at small x within DGLAP evolution, matching experimental observations.
Findings
Bessel-like behavior fits HERA data well
Flat initial conditions lead to accurate small-x predictions
DGLAP evolution supports the observed structure function pattern
Abstract
It is shown that a Bessel-like behaviour of the structure function F2 at small x, obtained for a flat initial condition in the DGLAP evolution equations, leads to good agreement with the deep inelastic scattering experimental data from HERA.
