TL;DR
This paper studies antiproton-proton annihilation processes into multiple mesons using SU(3) chiral effective theory at leading order, comparing theoretical predictions with experimental data.
Contribution
It applies tree-level SU(3) chiral effective theory to specific annihilation channels and highlights differences between neutral and charged meson production.
Findings
Calculated branching ratios are compared with experimental data.
Results differ significantly between neutral and charged channels.
The approach provides insights into meson production mechanisms in annihilation.
Abstract
The {\bar p}p-annihilation reactions {\bar p}p-->eta eta eta and {\bar p}p--> eta K{\bar K} at rest are considered in the tree approximation in the framework of SU(3) chiral effective theory at leading order. The calculated branchings are compared with the data. The results for neutral (eta eta eta, K^0{\bar K^0}eta) and charged (K^+ K^- eta) channels are essentially different.
