Testing a model for the puzzling spin 0 mesons
Joseph Schechter

TL;DR
This paper explores the internal structure of spin 0 mesons, reviewing historical context and proposing experimental tests via semi-leptonic decays of the D_s^+(1968) meson to investigate potential new meson models.
Contribution
It introduces a model for the internal structure of spin 0 mesons and discusses experimental methods to test this model through specific meson decay processes.
Findings
Proposes a new model for spin 0 meson structure
Suggests semi-leptonic decays as a testing method
Highlights potential for discovering new meson properties
Abstract
After a brief historical discussion of meson quantum numbers, we examin the possibility of additional internal meson structure. Experimental tests of this structure using the semi-leptonic decays of the (1968) meson are discussed.
