Counting master integrals: integration-by-parts procedure with effective mass
Bernd A. Kniehl, Anatoly V. Kotikov

TL;DR
This paper demonstrates that a new relation between master integrals can be derived using the integration-by-parts method with an effective mass, revealing a broader family of such relations.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach to derive relations between master integrals via the integration-by-parts technique with effective mass, expanding the understanding of integral relations.
Findings
New relation between master integrals derived
Integration-by-parts with effective mass reproduces recent results
Family of new relations between master integrals identified
Abstract
We show that the new relation between master integrals recently obtained in Ref. [1] can be reproduced using the integration-by-parts technique implemented with an effective mass. In fact, this relation is recovered as a special case of a whole family of new relations between master integrals.
