TL;DR
EKHARA is a Monte Carlo generator designed to simulate gamma gamma processes at meson factory energies, with upcoming features including eta and eta-prime meson production.
Contribution
This paper introduces EKHARA, a new Monte Carlo generator for simulating gamma gamma interactions, and discusses planned enhancements for meson production modeling.
Findings
EKHARA successfully simulates e+e- to e+e- pi0 processes.
Upcoming features will include eta and eta-prime meson production.
The generator is useful for meson factory experiments.
Abstract
The Monte Carlo generator EKHARA allows to simulate the process (e+e- to e+e-pi0) at energies of meson factories. We review the motivation, describe the current status of the generator, and discuss features, which will appear in the forthcoming releases: the two-photon production of eta and eta-prime mesons.
