TL;DR
This paper predicts the masses and strong decay properties of orbitally excited $B_s$ mesons using an improved Bethe-Salpeter approach, providing detailed decay channels, widths, and coupling constants relevant for understanding these mesons.
Contribution
The study introduces an improved Bethe-Salpeter method to calculate masses and decay widths of excited $B_s$ mesons, including isospin-violating and OZI-allowed channels, with detailed coupling constants.
Findings
Predicted masses: $B_{s0}=5.723 ext{ GeV}$, $B'_{s1}=5.774 ext{ GeV}$.
Calculated small widths for isospin-violating decays.
Provided decay widths and strong coupling constants for various channels.
Abstract
We calculate the masses and the strong decays of orbitally excited states , , and by the improved Bethe-Salpeter method. The predicted masses of and are , . We calculate the isospin symmetry violating decay processes and through mixing and get small widths. Considering the uncertainties of the masses, for and , we also calculate the OZI allowed decay channels: and . For and , the OZI allowed decay channels , and are studied. In all the decay channels, the reduction formula, PCAC relation and low energy theorem are used to estimate the decay widths. We also obtain…
