TL;DR
This paper investigates semi-leptonic and non-leptonic B meson decays to charmed mesons, estimating form factors and comparing theoretical predictions with experimental data for branching ratios, CP asymmetries, and polarization fractions.
Contribution
It provides new estimates of B to D(*) form factors using the Salpeter method and compares various theoretical approaches with experimental results.
Findings
Branching ratio estimates agree with experimental data.
CP asymmetries and polarization fractions are analyzed and compared.
The Salpeter method effectively estimates form factors for B decays.
Abstract
We study the semi-leptonic and non-leptonic weak decays which are governed by the transitions. The branching ratios, CP asymmetries (CPA) and polarization fractions (FA) of non-leptonic decays are investigated in the factorization approximation. The form factors are estimated in the Salpeter method. Our estimation on branching ratios generally agree with the existent experimental data. For CPA and polarizations, comparisons among the FA results, the perturbative QCD predictions and experimental data are made.
