Radiative corrections in nucleon time-like form factors measurements
Jacques Van de Wiele, Saro Ong

TL;DR
This paper analyzes comprehensive radiative corrections in proton-antiproton annihilation to electron-positron pairs, providing numerical estimates relevant for the PANDA detector at FAIR to improve nucleon time-like form factor measurements.
Contribution
It presents the first detailed calculation of radiative corrections including initial and final state radiation for this process, tailored to realistic experimental conditions.
Findings
Radiative corrections significantly affect measured form factors.
Numerical estimates tailored for PANDA detector configurations.
Enhanced accuracy in nucleon time-like form factor measurements.
Abstract
The completely general radiative corrections to lowest order, including the final and initial state radiations, are studied in proton-antiproton annihilation to an electron-positron pair. Numerical estimates have been made in a realistic configuration of the PANDA detector at FAIR for the proton time-like form factors measurements.
