TL;DR
CRunDec is a C++ software package that provides tools for calculating the running and decoupling of the strong coupling constant and quark masses, including scheme transformations, based on formulas from quantum chromodynamics.
Contribution
It offers a C++ implementation of the RunDec package with updates, enabling efficient computations in QCD analyses.
Findings
Provides a comprehensive C++ tool for QCD calculations
Includes scheme transformation formulas for heavy quark masses
Enhances computational efficiency over previous versions
Abstract
In this paper we present the {\tt C++} package {\tt CRunDec} which implements all relevant formulae needed for the running and decoupling for the strong coupling constant and light quark masses. Furthermore, several formulae are implemented which can be used to transform the heavy quark masses among different renormalization schemes. {\tt CRunDec} is the {\tt C++} version on the {\tt Mathematica} package {\tt RunDec} containing several updates and improvements.
