Study of CP violation in Dalitz-plot analyses of B0 --> K+K-KS, B+ --> K+K-K+, and B+ --> KSKSK+
The BABAR Collaboration

TL;DR
This study performs amplitude analyses of specific B meson decays to measure CP violation parameters and partial branching fractions, providing new insights into CP violation phenomena in three-body B decays using a large data sample from the BABAR experiment.
Contribution
It presents the first detailed amplitude and CP violation analysis of B decays to three-kaon final states, measuring CP asymmetries and phases with high precision.
Findings
Measured direct CP asymmetry in B+ → φ(1020)K+ of 12.8% with 2.8σ significance
Determined CP-violating phase β_eff in B0 → K+K−K0_S as 21°
Identified the f_X(1500) state as a combination of f0(1500), f2'(1525), and f0(1710) resonances
Abstract
We perform amplitude analyses of the decays , , and , and measure CP-violating parameters and partial branching fractions. The results are based on a data sample of approximately decays, collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy factory at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory. For , we find a direct CP asymmetry in of , which differs from zero by . For , we measure the CP-violating phase . For , we measure an overall direct CP asymmetry of . We also perform an angular-moment analysis of the three channels, and determine that the…
