TL;DR
This paper explores ekpyrotic and cyclic universe models within extended Hořava-Lifshitz gravity, reconstructs gravitational actions, compares with standard $F(R)$ gravity, and examines the Little Rip scenario affecting bound systems.
Contribution
It introduces novel solutions for cyclic universes in Hořava-Lifshitz gravity and compares these with standard $F(R)$ gravity, including analysis of the Little Rip phenomenon.
Findings
Cyclic Hubble parameter solutions identified
Reconstructed gravitational actions using various techniques
Analyzed the Little Rip scenario in this gravity framework
Abstract
The Ekpyrotic scenario is studied in the context of some extensions of Ho\v{r}ava-Lifshitz gravity. Some particular solutions that lead to cyclic Hubble parameters are analyzed, where the corresponding gravitational actions are reconstructed by using several techniques and auxiliary fields. Its comparison with standard gravity is performed. In addition, the so-called Little Rip, a stage of the universe evolution when some bounded systems may be dissolute, is also studied in this frame of theories.
