TL;DR
This paper proposes that a light techni-dilaton, a composite scalar predicted by walking technicolor, with a mass around 125 GeV, can explain the observed excesses in the di-photon decay channel at the LHC.
Contribution
It demonstrates that the techni-dilaton predicted by walking technicolor models can account for the 125 GeV Higgs-like signals observed at the LHC.
Findings
Techni-dilaton can have a mass around 125 GeV.
It can explain the di-photon excess observed at LHC.
Supports walking technicolor as a viable alternative to the Standard Model Higgs.
Abstract
Walking technicolor predicts a light composite scalar, techni-dilaton, arising as a pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson for the approximate scale symmetry spontaneously broken by techni-fermion condensation. We show that a light techni-dilaton with mass of around 125 GeV can explain presently observed excesses particularly in the di-photon decay channel at LHC.
