TL;DR
This paper reports measurements of azimuthal correlations of charged particles in Pb--Pb and pp collisions at high energies, comparing experimental data with simulations to understand collision dynamics.
Contribution
It provides new measurements of azimuthal correlations in heavy-ion and proton-proton collisions and compares them with simulation models.
Findings
Experimental azimuthal correlation data for Pb--Pb and pp collisions.
Comparison shows agreement/discrepancies with Pythia and Phojet simulations.
Insights into particle production mechanisms in high-energy collisions.
Abstract
We present results from the measurements of azimuthal correlations of charged particles in = 2.76 TeV Pb--Pb collisions and = 7 TeV pp collisions. In addition, the comparison of the experimental measurements in pp collisions with those from Pythia and Phojet simulations are presented.
