Evolution of magnetic field in interacting galaxies
Robert T. Drzazga, Krzysztof T. Chyzy, Wojciech Jurusik

TL;DR
This paper investigates how galaxy interactions influence the evolution of magnetic fields within galaxies, providing new insights into their dynamic behavior during such cosmic events.
Contribution
It presents the first comprehensive study on the global evolution of galactic magnetic fields during galaxy interactions.
Findings
Magnetic fields evolve significantly during galaxy interactions.
Interaction stages correlate with magnetic field strength and structure.
New models describe magnetic field amplification in interacting galaxies.
Abstract
Not much is currently known about how galaxy interactions affect an evolution of galactic magnetic fields. Here, for the first time, we explore a global evolution of magnetic fields with the advance of interaction process.
