TL;DR
This paper introduces new electrically charged black hole solutions in odd-dimensional anti-de Sitter space, generalizing known five-dimensional models, and analyzes their properties and thermodynamics numerically.
Contribution
It presents the first higher-dimensional generalizations of squashed charged black holes with negative cosmological constant in odd dimensions.
Findings
Constructed new solutions in dimensions d=2n+3 ≥ 5.
Computed conserved charges using counterterm method.
Analyzed thermodynamic properties numerically.
Abstract
We construct new electrically charged solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell equations with negative cosmological constant in general odd dimensions . They correspond to higher dimensional generalizations of the squashed black hole solutions, which were known so far only in five dimensions. We explore numerically the general properties of such classical solutions and, using a counterterm prescription, we compute their conserved charges and discuss their thermodynamics.
