Time Delay Plot for Pion-Nucleon Elastic Scattering
Mohamed E. Kelabi

TL;DR
This paper analyzes the Delta(1232) resonance in pion-nucleon elastic scattering using time delay plots and phase shift analysis to determine its pole position and width, confirming previous results.
Contribution
It introduces a method of using time delay plots combined with phase shift analysis to accurately determine resonance parameters.
Findings
Delta(1232) resonance pole position matches earlier calculations
Resonance width consistent with previous studies
Validates time delay plot as a tool for resonance analysis
Abstract
We evaluated the time delay plot in the established region of the Delta(1232) resonance through the use of elastic scattering phase shift analysis of the partial wave amplitude P33. The pole position and width of the Delta(1232) resonance were obtained and found in agreement with earlier calculations.
