G.I. Gakh, A. Dbeyssi, E.Tomasi-Gustafsson, D. Marchand, V.V. Bytev

TL;DR
This paper proposes a method to measure the proton charge radius precisely through elastic scattering on atomic electrons at very small momentum transfers, potentially improving current measurement accuracy.
Contribution
It introduces a novel approach using low-momentum transfer scattering to enhance the precision of proton charge radius measurements.
Findings
Potential to reach four orders of magnitude smaller transferred momenta.
High probability of achieving very small momentum transfers.
Suggests improved measurement accuracy for proton charge radius.
Abstract
It is suggested that proton elastic scattering on atomic electrons allows a precise measurement of the proton charge radius. Very small values of transferred momenta (up to four order of magnitude smaller than the ones presently available) can be reached with high probability.
