Hairy mass bound in the Einstein-Born-Infeld black hole
Yun Soo Myung, Taeyoon Moon

TL;DR
This paper investigates the distribution of hairy matter around Einstein-Born-Infeld black holes, demonstrating that more than half of the hair's mass lies beyond the photon-sphere, consistent with Hod's conjecture.
Contribution
It reveals the mass distribution of hair in EBI black holes and confirms Hod's bound for the hair extending beyond the photon-sphere.
Findings
More than half of the hair's mass is beyond the photon-sphere.
The hair distribution respects Hod's conjectured bound.
The study extends understanding of hair in nonlinear electrodynamics black holes.
Abstract
We study the Einstein-Born-Infeld (EBI) theory where the hairy black hole was found as the EBI black hole by using Hod's idea. The hair extends beyond the photon-sphere of the EBI black hole spacetimes. We show that the region beyond the photon-sphere involves more than half of the total hair's mass, which respects Hod's conjectured bound.
