NBursts+phot: parametric recovery of galaxy star formation histories from the simultaneous fitting of spectra and broad-band spectral energy distributions
Igor Chilingarian, Ivan Katkov

TL;DR
NBursts+phot is a new method that simultaneously fits high-resolution spectra and broadband SEDs to accurately recover galaxy star formation histories, reducing degeneracies in stellar population modeling.
Contribution
It introduces a novel technique for combined spectroscopic and photometric fitting to improve the parametric recovery of galaxy star formation histories.
Findings
Enhanced accuracy in star formation history recovery.
Reduced degeneracies between stellar population parameters.
Effective simultaneous fitting of spectra and broad-band data.
Abstract
We present NBursts+phot, a novel technique for the parametric inversion of spectrophotometric data for unresolved stellar populations where high-resolution spectra and broadband SEDs are fitted simultaneously helping to break the degeneracies between parameters of multi-component stellar population models.
