Measurement of the branching fraction ${\mathcal{B}}(\Lambda^0_b\rightarrow \Lambda^+_c\pi^-\pi^+\pi^-)$ at CDF
T. Aaltonen (for the CDF Collaboration)

TL;DR
This paper measures the branching fraction of a specific Lambda_b decay mode at the CDF experiment, providing the largest sample to date and precise relative and absolute branching fraction values.
Contribution
First measurement of the branching fraction for Lambda_b to Lambda_c pi pi pi decay using the largest sample at CDF.
Findings
Measured the ratio of branching fractions as 3.04 ± 0.33 (stat) +0.70/-0.55 (syst).
Derived the absolute branching fraction as (26.8 +11.9/-11.2)×10^{-3}.
Reconstructed the largest samples of several Lambda_b decay modes.
Abstract
We report an analysis of the decay in a data sample collected by the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron corresponding to 2.4 fb of integrated luminosity. We reconstruct the currently largest samples of the decay modes (with ), (with ), (with ), and (with ) and measure the branching fractions relative to the branching fraction. We measure the ratio $\BR(\Lambda^0_b\rightarrow…
