S. V. Goloskokov (JINR Dubna)

TL;DR
This paper investigates light meson electroproduction using the handbag model, emphasizing the importance of transversity GPDs in pseudoscalar meson production, and finds good agreement with experimental data.
Contribution
It highlights the crucial role of transversity GPDs $ ilde H_T$ and $ ilde E_T$ in pseudoscalar meson electroproduction, providing new insights into their effects.
Findings
Transversity GPDs significantly influence pseudoscalar meson production.
Theoretical results align well with experimental measurements.
Analysis of cross sections and spin asymmetries supports the model.
Abstract
We analyze light meson electroproduction within the handbag model. We study cross sections and spin asymmetries for various mesons. The essential role of the transversity and GPDs in electroproduction of pseudoscalar mesons is found. Our results are in good agrement with experiment.
