TL;DR
This paper reports the horizontal testing of the BEPCII 500MHz spare cavity, detailing the process, parameters, and results including maximum voltage, Q0, and effects of temperature changes.
Contribution
It provides detailed analysis of the cavity's performance and parameter changes during cool-down, which is new data for this type of cavity testing.
Findings
Maximum voltage achieved was 2.17MV
Q0 reached 5.78×10^8 during testing
Parameters such as frequency, Q, vacuum, and deformation were analyzed during cool-down
Abstract
The horizontal test for BEPCII 500MHz spare cavity has been completed in IHEP. The max voltage of the cavity is 2.17MV, Q0 is 5.78\times108.This paper mainly reports coupler aging parameters before the horizontal test, as well as the parameters during cool-down the change of frequency, loaded Q, vacuum and the deformation of the cavity with temperature. And the test results were analyzed.
