Corrections to the HARP-CDP Analysis of the LSND Neutrino Oscillation Backgrounds
G. T. Garvey, W. C. Louis, G. B. Mills, and D. H. White

TL;DR
This paper corrects errors in recent analyses of LSND neutrino background estimates, showing that the revised backgrounds are comparable to or lower than the original LSND estimates, impacting the interpretation of the neutrino oscillation signal.
Contribution
It identifies and corrects mistakes in recent background analyses, providing a more accurate estimate of the LSND neutrino background.
Findings
Corrected background estimates are close to LSND's original estimate.
Errors in recent analyses have been identified and rectified.
Revised backgrounds may influence the interpretation of LSND results.
Abstract
Several mistakes have been found in recent papers that purport to reanalyze the backgrounds to the LSND neutrino oscillation signal. Once these mistakes are corrected, then it is determined that the background estimates in the papers are close to (if not lower than) the LSND background estimate.
