TL;DR
This paper reviews the current status of the CKM matrix element determinations, discusses tensions in global fits, and highlights progress and prospects in measuring CP violation effects.
Contribution
It provides a comprehensive overview of recent developments and challenges in measuring the CKM matrix elements and CP violation in quark physics.
Findings
Identified tensions in global fits of CKM elements
Summarized recent progress in CP violation measurements
Discussed future prospects for precision in quark-mixing studies
Abstract
The current status of the determination of the elements of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa quark-mixing matrix is reviewed. Tensions in the global fits are highlighted. Particular attention is paid to progress in, and prospects for, measurements of CP violation effects.
