TL;DR
This paper discusses the dark energy paradigm, proposing a model for the cosmological constant to explain the accelerating universe, building on concepts introduced in 1997.
Contribution
It introduces a new model for dark energy as a cosmological constant, advancing the theoretical understanding of the accelerating universe.
Findings
Proposes a specific model for the cosmological constant
Supports the dark energy paradigm as a fundamental cosmological component
Builds on previous concepts introduced in 1997
Abstract
Though the concept of a dark energy driven accelerating universe was introduced by the author in 1997, to date dark energy itself, as described below has remained a paradigm. A model for the cosmological constant is suggested.
