A. Ulacia Rey

TL;DR
This paper calculates the entropy of extremal black holes in four dimensions considering higher derivative Gauss-Bonnet terms within a non-minimal Einstein-Maxwell theory, using Sen's mechanism.
Contribution
It provides explicit entropy calculations including Gauss-Bonnet contributions in the gauge-gravity sector for extremal black holes.
Findings
Explicit entropy formulas with Gauss-Bonnet terms derived
Demonstrates the impact of higher derivative corrections on black hole entropy
Extends Sen's mechanism to include non-minimal Einstein-Maxwell theories
Abstract
Using the Sen's mechanism we calculate the entropy for an extremal and static black hole in four dimensions, with higher derivative terms that comes from a three parameter non-minimal Einstein-Maxwell theory. The explicit results for Gauss-Bonnet in the gauge-gravity sector are shown.
