Witten spinors on nonspin manifolds
Anda Degeratu, Mark Stern

TL;DR
This paper investigates the behavior of harmonic spinors on nonspin manifolds that are asymptotically flat and have nonnegative scalar curvature, extending Witten's positive mass theorem proof.
Contribution
It provides new insights into the existence and properties of Witten spinors on nonspin manifolds with specific geometric conditions.
Findings
Analysis of asymptotically constant harmonic spinors on nonspin manifolds.
Extension of Witten's positive mass theorem to nonspin cases.
Characterization of spinor behavior under nonnegative scalar curvature.
Abstract
Motivated by Witten's spinor proof of the positive mass theorem, we analyze asymptotically constant harmonic spinors on complete asymptotically flat nonspin manifolds with nonnegative scalar curvature.
