Classifiyng metrically conical rational singularities
Helge M{\o}ller Pedersen

TL;DR
This paper classifies rational surface singularities that exhibit a metrically conical bilipschitz type in their inner metric, utilizing the thick-thin decomposition framework.
Contribution
It provides a complete list of such singularities, advancing understanding of their geometric and metric properties.
Findings
Identifies all rational surface singularities with metrically conical inner metrics.
Uses thick-thin decomposition to analyze singularity metrics.
Establishes criteria for bilipschitz conicality in rational singularities.
Abstract
In this paper we determine a complete list of rational surface singularities which have metrically conical bilipschitz type of its inner metric. We achieve this by using the thick-thin decomposition of Birbrair, Neumann and Pichon.
