Energy dependence of elliptic flow of $\phi$-meson in STAR at RHIC
Md. Nasim (for the STAR Collaboration)

TL;DR
This study measures the elliptic flow of $$-mesons in gold-gold collisions at different energies, revealing energy-dependent behavior and differences in quark scaling trends at various collision energies.
Contribution
It provides the first detailed measurement of $$-meson elliptic flow across multiple energies, highlighting energy dependence and deviations from quark number scaling at lower energies.
Findings
Elliptic flow decreases at lower beam energies.
Quark number scaling holds at 39 GeV but not at 11.5 GeV.
Energy dependence observed in $$-meson flow patterns.
Abstract
We present the measurement of elliptic flow () as a function of transverse momentum () for the -meson in Au+Au collisions at = 7.7, 11.5 and 39 GeV. At low -meson decreases with decrease in beam energy. The number of constituent quark () scaled for -meson vs ()/ follows similar trend as other hadrons for = 39 GeV whereas the scaled for -mesons follows a different trend compared to the other hadrons at = 11.5 GeV.
