Production of large transverse momentum dileptons and photons in $pp$, $dA$ and $AA$ collisions by photoproduction processes
Yong-Ping Fu, Yun-De Li

TL;DR
This paper calculates the production of high transverse momentum dileptons and photons via photoproduction in various collisions, finding negligible effects at RHIC but significant modifications at LHC energies.
Contribution
It provides a detailed analysis of photoproduction contributions to dilepton and photon yields across different collision systems and energies, highlighting energy-dependent effects.
Findings
Photoproduction contributions are negligible at RHIC energies.
Significant modifications appear at LHC energies in the high $P_T$ region.
Results suggest energy-dependent importance of photoproduction processes.
Abstract
The production of large dileptons and photons originating from photoproduction processes in , and collisions is calculated. We find that the contribution of dileptons and photons produced by photoproduction processes is not prominent at RHIC energies. However, the numerical results indicate that the modification of photoproduction processes becomes evident in the large region for , and collisions at LHC energies.
