Models for transverse-momentum distributions and transversity
Alessandro Bacchetta (Pavia U., INFN)

TL;DR
This paper reviews models of transverse-momentum distributions and transversity, comparing their predictions with experimental data, and discusses the relations and limitations among different functions in this context.
Contribution
It provides a comparative overview of models for transverse-momentum and transversity, highlighting common features, relations, and their applicability.
Findings
Model results align with experimental extractions
Relations between functions have limited validity
Models share common features in describing distributions
Abstract
I present a short review of models for transverse-momentum distributions and transversity, with a particular attention on general features common to many models. I compare some model results with experimental extractions. I discuss the existence of relations between different functions, their limits of validity, their possible use.
