TL;DR
This paper computes the partition function of five-dimensional Abelian super Yang-Mills theory with a graviphoton term on a five-torus and finds agreement with the Abelian M5 brane partition function on a six-torus, providing evidence for the Abelian D4-M5 duality.
Contribution
It provides a direct computation supporting the Abelian D4-M5 duality through partition function analysis.
Findings
Partition functions agree on the specified manifolds.
Supports the conjectured duality between D4 and M5 branes.
Highlights the role of the graviphoton term in the computation.
Abstract
We compute the partition function of five-dimension Abelian sYM including a graviphoton term on a five-torus. The result agrees with Abelian M5 brane partition function with zero characteristics on an associated six-torus.
