TL;DR
This paper re-analyzes decay data of X(3872) to determine its quantum numbers, concluding that current evidence supports a 1++ assignment based on invariant mass distributions.
Contribution
It provides a new analysis of decay distributions to clarify the quantum numbers of X(3872), favoring the 1++ assignment.
Findings
Data favor the 1++ quantum number assignment for X(3872)
Invariant mass distributions support the 1++ hypothesis
Re-analysis clarifies previous ambiguities in quantum number determination
Abstract
We re-analyse the two- and three-pion mass distributions in the decays X(3872)->rho J/psi and X(3872)->omega J/psi and argue that the present data favour the 1++ assignment for the quantum numbers of the X.
