Lattice Fluctuations Spectrum Calculation for P-dihlorbenzol Nanocrystals
M.A.Korshunov

TL;DR
This paper measures and calculates the lattice fluctuation spectra in p-dichlorobenzene nanocrystals, revealing that surface fluctuations dominate as particle size decreases.
Contribution
It provides experimental spectra and theoretical calculations of lattice fluctuations in p-dichlorobenzene nanoparticles, highlighting size-dependent surface effects.
Findings
Surface fluctuation spectrum becomes dominant in smaller nanoparticles
Calculated lattice frequencies align with experimental measurements
Nanoparticle size influences the spectral characteristics of lattice fluctuations
Abstract
We have measured spectra of lattice fluctuations in p-dihlorbenzol nanoparticles of ~300nm size. Calculations of lattice frequencies and of these fluctuations in nanoparticles are done. It is shown that with reduction of nanoparticles sizes the spectrum of superficial fluctuations becomes prevailing.
