Massless, String Localized Quantum Fields for Any Helicity
M. Plaschke, J. Yngvason

TL;DR
This paper constructs covariant, free quantum fields for any massless, irreducible Poincaré representation that are localized along semi-infinite strings, expanding the understanding of string-localized quantum fields.
Contribution
It introduces a method to build covariant, string-localized quantum fields for all massless irreducible representations, generalizing previous models.
Findings
Fields generate the representation space from the vacuum.
Fields are localized in semi-infinite strings.
The construction applies to all massless irreducible representations.
Abstract
For any massless, irreducible representation of the covering of the proper, orthochronous Poincar\'e group we construct covariant, free quantum fields that generate the representation space from the vacuum and are localized in semi-infinite strings in the sense of commutation or anti-commutation of the field operators at space-like separation of the strings.
